7. Audience Measurement and Cookies

The site uses PostHog and Matomo to measure its audience and improve the user experience.

This audience measurement meets the conditions set by the CNIL, the French data protection authority, for exemption from consent:

  • data hosted in the European Union, by Scroll for Matomo and by a provider bound by a data processing agreement for PostHog;
  • visit statistics only, with no tracking on other sites and no advertising profile;
  • anonymised IP addresses and measurement cookies limited to 13 months;
  • the option to object at any time from the privacy policy.

On campaign pages and when you arrive from a ChatGPT ad, a banner offers optional features: session recording on campaign pages, linking your contact request to your visit, and advertising measurement. They are only activated with your consent.

The audience measurement described above does not depend on this banner. To stop it, use the “Disable audience measurement” button in the privacy policy: it stops Matomo and PostHog in your browser and deletes their cookies.

Session recording masks entered fields and excludes hidden technical fields; recordings are kept for 30 days. You can change your choice at any time from the “Manage my cookies” link.
